July 30th ~ Registration & Orientation at Surrey YMCA on Hwy. 10 & 152nd
Aug. 1st ~ White Rock - Torch Light Parade
1st Torchlight parade - meet at the float along Marine Drive. I
cannot give you a location yet as we don't find out until we get there at 1pm.
Come early to help with decorating. We will need volunteers that day & night to
walk with the float and give out flyers. Come with glow sticks and anything that
illuminates (flashlights are good too). Meet along Marine Drive. Come early as
parking is a premium and you may have to park and ride from Earl Marriot school
15751 - 16th Avenue or Semiahmoo Sec. 148th at 18th Avenue. Parking at Semiahmoo
Park is $6. This is close to the end of the parade route.
Aug. 4th ~ Manners workshop - Surrey YMCA at 7:00-8:30. Bring your best behavior and practice your greetings as I will be calling on your assistance.
Aug. 6th ~ Semi-finals at ABC restaurant at 2160 King George Hwy. Come at
5:30 for the silent auction and run through of the talent presentations. Dinner
is $9 for children and $15 for adults. Includes Caesar salad, chicken fingers or
lasagna, garlic toast and drinks. Price includes gst and gratuities. Please
confirm your numbers by Sunday.
Aug. 7th ~ Pageant at Sheraton Guildford Ballroom from 7:00-9:30pm Tickets
are $5 at the door. Bring your friends and family. Silent auction will be
closed that night. Special guest appearances from Paul Latta Dance Studios.
Aug. 20th ~ Float decorating at Cloverdale Rodeo Grounds
Aug. 21st ~ Parade at 10 am
Festival from 9-4 pm at Clover Square Village Mall
