Here is an invitation to come and join us at our 5th Annual Hydrangea Blossom Festival on Aug. 24th, 2002 at
Surrey's Millennium Amphitheatre on
l76th St. and 62 A Ave. and 64th Ave.
Hours are: 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
We are decorating floral parade floats with natural materials and flowers on Thursday, Aug. 22ndh, on the Cloverdale Rodeo Grounds. This is next door to the Millennium Amphitheatre, off 62A Ave.
Decorating by volunteers goes on from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, and then again on Friday. This is in preparation for the Masterpiece of a Floral Parade, taking place on Sat., Aug. 24th, 2002 at 10: 00 a.m. on the extensive roads within the Amphitheatre Park. |
We would love to have you join us at the festival, and at our “Happening” at the pre-parade decorating site.
If you are interested in donating any hydrangea flowers, we'd be thrilled to receive them at our decorating site on Thursday. Aug. 22nd. (l76th St. & 62 A Ave.)
Volunteers can also come to your home to pick up the flowers you cut, if you cannot get out to deliver your own flowers.
All types of flowers will be gratefully received, along with any hedge cuttings, greenery, and other plants.
